Wood Finish for internal applications

The beauty and traditional style of wood is often the choice for interior decorative elements of a property, but frequently wood is not the best material to use.

Two of our clients wanted the warmth and texture of wood but needed the structural properties of aluminium. Apton Partitioning construct interior partition systems. These are quick-fitting easily demountable units. Apton wanted to offer partition frames that looked liked wood. Silent Gliss is a leading supplier of motorised and manual curtain and blind systems. They wanted to offer the look of wood in their choice of curtain poles.

Aluminium has many advantages over wood including reduced costs, flexibility in design, manufacturing and installation benefits. For both Apton Partitioning and Silent Gliss, aluminium is the perfect material, achieving the look of wood where a laminate finish would not be suitable for fabrication or assembly.
