To retain the aesthetic qualities and the expected long-term durability of the powder coating system it is important that the coating is cleaned regularly.

Recommended cleaning frequency for all finishes

Normal inland environment: Every 18 months
Industrial environment: Every 12 months
Areas of high pollution: Every 3-6 months
Marine environment and swimming pool environments: Every 3-6 months
Undue soiling should be removed immediately.

A condition of powder coating guarantees is that the coating is cleaned at the specified frequency and that proof of cleaning is retained by the building occupier.
