The official press release is below but we want to precis the official PR to let you know that we, Giles and Richard, are “chuffed” that we will be continuing the great work that Martyn Green has done since he started Powdertech in Corby in 1989. Martyn is one of the giants on whose shoulders we have been privileged to stand.
Martyn has not completely retired from powder coating as he is still heavily involved in our ex-sister company Powdertech Surface Science, in Bicester.

We are excited to announce the next chapter in the growth of Powdertech (Corby) Limited. Current directors Giles Ashmead and Richard Besant, with the support of Cordovan Capital Partners, have completed a management buyout of the company from the retiring Managing Director and founder of Powdertech (Corby) Limited, Martyn Green. Giles and Richard will continue to lead the team and for customers and suppliers it is “business as usual”.
There is no change to the organisation or operation of the business and all your contacts will remain the same as we continue our expansion in supplying innovative finishes, technical solutions and high-quality products to the architectural market.
