Independent tests for reaction to fire on our powder coating products confirm A2,s1-d0
Fire safety is of critical importance to us and we take it very seriously. We run independent tests on our products and we keep them up to date.
Powdertech finishes 'Wood Finish', 'Evolution' and 'Satellite' have recently been tested by System Laboratories Ltd and the fire reaction results confirm them as A2,s1-d0.

A2,s1-d0 is the rating set by Government Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 for all materials used as part of the external wall of residential buildings with a storey at least 18m above ground.
Classification A2 means very limited contribution to fire, s1 means smoke emission is absent or weak and d0 means that there are no flaming droplets.
Powder coatings are a dry powder with no solvents and contain no harmful volatile organic compounds. Smoke generation is of low rate and density and very low toxicity
