Revisiting a stone finish, five years on

As part of our development of unique powder coating shades we like to revisit past work in situ. Last week we revisited Westfield Shopping Centre, White City, London, where, five years ago, we were asked to match a powder coating with Jura limestone. The designers wanted the pale sparkly appearance of the stone used for the ground level storey to appear right across the front of the main properties Using the stone itself in this quantity was impractical for the main reasons of weight and cost. We developed a new shade within our Stone collection, called ‘Ballycastle Stone’.

On our visit we were very pleased to see that the Ballycastle Stone is still looking smart and clean and a good match to the stone beneath. Powder coating is very low maintenance - just a wash down with water every 6-12 months or so, depending on environmental conditions. You can read the full 2018 case study HERE.  If you would like us to design a bespoke shade then please get in touch.
